Mule Deer in B.C. are well known for the high quality trophies that can be obtained from the mature bucks. The Mule Deer are the largest of the three native deer species and a mature buck weighs between 80 – 120 kg, but can weigh up to approx 200 kg. We find Mule Deer almost everywhere in our hunting areas. When running for cover , they often pause to look back, giving the hunter a good opportunity for a standing shot. We can harvest 4 point Bucks meaning that the antler should at least have 4 points on one side. The Mule Deer hunts can be carried out from a stand, with 4×4 pick-up truck or ATV, or as a spot and stalk hunt.
